Daphne E. Brown, M.A., M.A., and Ph.D candidate is the President/Founder of The Human Development Institute for African American Youth. The institute is a non-profit organization that offers consulting, training, curriculum development, and training materials to schools, not for profits, churches, state and federal human services agencies.

The consulting, training, curriculum development and training materials help organizations:

  • Identify the challenges that African American youth and students face

  • Identify key "Developmental & Cultural Assets" necessary for spiritual,social, emotional, mental, physical and academic succes

  • Implement key "Developmental & Cultural Assets"

  • Develop a plan of action for specific programs
